Long Hairstyles for Men

Classically long straight hair can look good at any age. The key thing to remember is the texture of your hair. If you are thinning, either on top or in dimension, do not try to pull off long hair. Long stringy, drab hair looks terrible on anyone. But as long as you have a healthy head of hair, long straight hair can look mysterious, handsome and sexy! Be sure to keep your mane looking healthy by regularly washing and conditioning with moisturizing products. Regular trims are also important, as you will be susceptible to split ends that lead to breakage of the hair. Less is more in styling your hair so use just a simple leave-in cream conditioner that is lightweight and focused on the ends. Make sure your hair products smell good as you can be guaranteed that admiring hands will find their way to running through your longs strands.

Hot Hair Technique – American Wave System

What is the American Wave System? This hair technique is the latest, creative, and special wave and texture boosting service that hair experts work with to produce anything from full-blown curls,  cascading beachy waves to expanded textures.
With no dryness, damage, bad smells, or hair styling limitations, hair experts can transform the texture of hair that is currently curly, make use of the system to give fine hair types a volume increase, produce a mixture of numerous textures, and create waves and curls to women who would like them.
Rather than the age old perm rods, the New American Wave makes use of innovative soft tool and design wraps.
- The Beach Wave Technique. As the name implies, it is used to create the sexy, tousled beach waves. It uses American Wave and a vertical drag wrap soft tool technique.
- The Style Support Technique. It is used to add volume and texture to lifeless hair by creating a resilient consistent wave. It uses classic soft tool wrapping technique together with American Wave.
- The Expanded Waves & Curls Technique. It creates buoyant, resilient and dynamic wave and curl patterns. It uses a round soft tool wrapping technique.
American wave service price is $400 and requires certification. Stylists must attend workshops to obtain certification.

Hairstyles That Make Your Face Look Thinner

So you want a hairstyle that can make you look thinner. You want a haircut that can make your round face look longer.
It can be achieved. There are hairstyles that will make your face look thinner. On the other hand, there are some things you should avoid.
Do:
- Add subtle, natural highlights. This will work because vertical stripes of light and dark in your hair will make your face look slimmer.
- Add more volume in your hair. This is a very good way to make your face look smaller.
- Adding layers is another great way to soften your round face. You should try a longer, layered haircut that goes past the chin. When doing this, avoid letting your hair poof out on the sides because this will create width.
- If you have a round or heart-shaped face, do not go with a center part. Go with a side part. Also, if you part your hair on the opposite side of your natural part, this will lengthen your face.
- Two more hairstyles that will make your face appear thinner are asymmetrical bob and long shag.
- The chin-length bob should be avoided because it will frame your face and thus emphasise its roundness. This haircut also adds volume on the sides of the head, making your face appear wider.
- Blunt bangs should be avoided because they will not lengthen your face but make it look both shorter and wider.
- Do not for a super-short cut. This does not mean you can’t have short hair. You can but you need to add layers or volume at the top. For shorter hairstyles it is crucial that haircut does not end directly at the chin.
- Do not choose poker-straight hair because it will fall close to your head and make your face look heavy.

Factors Affecting Hair Growth

There are lots of factors that can affect hair growth. Some of them can significantly slow down normal hair growth. There are also some things that people are using every day to help promote hair growing cycle but with little or no results at all. Let’s see what are they.
Four Things That Will Non Help Promote Hair Growth
These things will not help you to grow your hair faster and they are just waste of time and money.
1. Trimming split ends cannot speed up your hair’s growth, but it is very important part of proper hair care.
2. Experimenting with different shampoos or conditioners is also useless. You just need to use those that you hair likes.
3. Frequent brushing of your hair, such as 100 brush strokes per day, is also waste of time. As a matter of fact, if you do it violently, you can damage your hair tresses.
4. Getting a really short cut or shaving your head cannot help you grow your hair faster. It’s not that simple!
Six Things That Will Slow Down Hair Growth
There are lots of factors that can slow down hair growth, and bad genetics is just one of them. This list includes other things that can negatively affect growing of your locks:
1. High levels of stress and physical and emotional trauma.
2. Nutrient deficiency or, in other words, poor, unbalanced diet.
3. Frequent chemical treatments, such as relaxing, bleaching, perming.
4. Some medications used to treat diabetes, heart conditions, blood pressure or high cholesterol can be responsible for hair loss.
5. Sleep deprivation. If you do not sleep 7-8 hours, you will notice that this can  lead to slow hair growth.
6. Bad habits such as alcohol drinking as well as smoking will not good anything good for your hair as well.

SUPER SHORT HAIRCUTS CAN CHANGE YOUR LOOK

Super short haircuts are very stylish and they are famous among celebrities. There are many super short haircuts but they are not suitable for everyone as many haircuts require time for maintenance but super short haircuts have ability to change your whole look.
There are many hairstyles which can be included in this category. Pixie hairstyle and razor cut are best among short hairstyles. There are many types of pixie haircut like standard pixie haircuts, choppy haircuts and shaggy haircuts. Standard pixie haircuts do not require time for maintenance but they require maintenance.
short haircuts - short hairstyles
Choppy haircuts require time for maintenance because in these hairstyles pointed ends are made and razor is used to make ends pointed. Shaggy haircuts are layered hairstyles. Razor cut is so named because in these hairstyles, razor is used to shape and cut the ends of hairs. Many other hairstyles are suitable for short hairs like bob hairstyles so you can try anyone of your own choice. Bob hairstyles are of many types and they are in fashion every year.

With every changing fashion new variations are brought in bob hairstyle but basic haircut remains same. Bob hairstyles can be divided in to two types and these are traditional bob hairstyles and modern bob hairstyles. Modern bob haircuts include inverted bob hairstyles, asymmetrical bob hairstyles, classy bob hairstyles, angled bob hairstyles, sleek bob hairstyles and bob hairstyles with bangs.
short haircuts - short hairstyles
These are formed with new changes in the basic bob cut as in inverted bob hairstyle; hairs from the front are kept longer while hairs at the back are left short. Asymmetrical bob hairstyle is similar to that of inverted bob but with the difference that in this haircut, one side of hairs at the front is kept longer than the other side and longer side covers the face thus this hairstyle helps in framing your face.

But if you are not in favor of above described types of hairstyle then you can go with classy bob hairstyle because in this type, hairs remain of equal length. You can color your hairs but if you want some change then you can go with highlighting of different strands of hairs as highlighting will have more powerful effect than coloring. You can bring changes in your hairstyles 2013 according to your taste by applying your mind but before doing anything with your hairs, you must keep it in mind that your hairstyle helps in making your personality.

Robbie Williams Hairstyles

Robbie Williams is a British singer/songwriter and vocal coach. He is part of the pop band, Take That. He also does some occasional acting. He had a solo musical career for a time before rejoining Take That. He has received several awards during his career and been named to the UK Music Hall of Fame. Here, is a look at Robbie Williams hairstyles.

During the course of his career, Robbie has worn his hair in many different styles. At one time, he wore it in a buzz cut that hugged the shape of his head. This closely resembled the first haircut given to military recruits in that all the hair was of the same length, about an eighth of an inch. No products or effort were needed to maintain this style other than frequent cuts.

He has also worn it a bit longer, though still short. Here, the length was between three quarters of an inch and one inch. This made it long enough to lay flat against his head. He also applied gel occasionally and created spikes that stood all over the top of his head.

At one point in time, he wore it with the top tapered from short in back to about an inch in front. Two strips were dyed blond and the entire top was pulled up to stand on end. This was a high maintenance style that made use of a lot of product, probably wax as it lacked the wet look that gel normally gives.
Another style he wore for a time had the sides and back buzz cut close to the scalp and the top left longer. He applied pomade to his hands and ran them through the top of the hair and allowed it to stand or fall where it would. This messy style gave him a bit of a bad boy look.

As he has gotten older, he has adopted a slightly more conservative look. He keeps the hair cut short, though not buzzed. The sides and back are tapered while the top is about two inch in length. He sometimes combs this to one side. More often, he uses pomade and a brush to give this a slightly messed up look that appears as if he did nothing with it. Surprisingly, this is a high maintenance style.
Robbie Williams hairstyles have changed a good deal over the years. How he wore it depended on the image he was trying to promote at the time. His style has evolved over time as he has aged.

But coloring should be experimented keeping in mind that it may cause damage to your hairs. In this way you get continues opportunity to enjoy any medium hairstyle and get a new look each time.  For example, a medium hairstyle consisting of straight hairs can be converted into curly hairstyle and a layered hairstyles can be changed into a half-up or curls and volume. But some hairstyles which are made using some chemical substance etc can leave their effects and can be a little bit stubborn to be changed.
Medium Hairstyles - Medium Haircuts
Medium hairstyles are easily maintainable but they demand more care and attention than short haircuts. Use of some soft hair conditioner, shampoo or any other treatment with consultation of some good dermatologist can be useful not only for the health of your hair but for styling also. Shane Dawson Straight Hairstyle

Photo of Shane Dawson hairstyle.

Shane Dawson is a 23 year old American YouTube star. He is the owner of the fifth and the twelfth most subscribed channels in YouTube history. He is known for producing comedies that feature several characters he created, including Ned the Nerd, Shananay, Aunt Hilda, and S. Deezy. He also does celebrity impersonations with recent targets including Sarah Palin, Miley Cyrus, and Paris Hilton. He is a self made celebrity and part of his image is the Shane Dawson hairstyle.
Image of straightening hair.
Shane wears his hair just short of shoulder length. It is kept very straight through the use of a straightening iron. He normally has it parted on one side and brushed forward and over at about a forty five degree angle. He wears the part on either side, depending on his mood and/or the character he is portraying.
Picture of Shane Dawson straight hairstyle.

He always brush the bangs to the side. But he seldom covers the eye with his hair. There have been occasions when the eye was covered or partially covered.
He does not need to use a great deal of product to maintain his look. It is quite likely that he uses a small amount of pomade to provide a soft, touchable hold. This helps to limit the number of times he must use a brush to refresh the style.
The Shane Dawson hairstyle is not difficult to create or to maintain. It must be kept trimmed at regular intervals to maintain the length and avoid split ends that can cause frizz. Bringing the sides forward somewhat helps to frame his face while the angle of the bangs adds a sense of mystery. While this is not a classic Emo style, it is close enough that he could easily be considered a member of this subculture.

Wahl 79300-400 Color Pro 20 Piece Complete Haircutting Kit Review

Image of Wahl 79300-400 Color Pro 20 Piece Complete Haircutting Kit.

The Wahl 79300-400 Color Pro 20 Piece Complete Haircutting Kit is a top quality set that allows one to get top quality haircuts in the comfort of his/her home. It stands out from other kits on the market in that it encompasses a complete set of guide combs of different lengths and with different colors for tracking the right come for each member of the family. This makes it easier to remember the length different members of the family want their hair cut to by remembering what hue the comb was used on the clipper instead of trying to remember the number on the comb. There is also a key that tells the length and size of each colored comb.

Features
The device is designed with a soft grip that makes it more comfortable to hold and operate. There is not need to worry about dull blades because the device is designed with self sharpening blades made from high-carbon steel that are precision ground and designed to stay sharper longer.

In addition to these features, the unit is equipped with an adjustment on the blades that can be used to manage the styling aspect. Accessories include a storage case for easy transportation, both a styling comb and a barber comb, barber quality scissors, blade oil and a cleaning brush. There are twelve different colored guide combs and a blade guard. Complete instructions for operating and maintaining the clippers are included in the package in both Spanish and English.

The Cons
If the kit has a negative side, it would have to be the storage case. There are no divisions or brackets to secure the guide combs. Everything fits into the case loosely and there have been complaints that some of the guide combs have been broken during transit. The longest combs are usually the first to break.

When compared to other brands, the thickness of the teeth on the guide combs seems a bit thin. This could also be a contributing factor to the ease with they can become broken in the case. Even so, the quality of the clippers makes the kit worth more than the price paid.

The device is not faultless. None on the market are. However, the price is low enough and the quality high enough that buyers can save more than enough to pay for the kit on haircuts they get in their home rather than a barber shop.

Easy to Use
The color-matched combs and guides make it simpler to match up the preferred lengths of different family members. The clipper is easy to handle and has a grip that makes control assured. The Wahl Haircutting Kit is of a top quality that rivals any seen in a barber shop.

Many people who have used the Wahl Kit for haircutting report that they were able to give themselves a haircut without leaving one’s home that rivaled the quality received from a barber. Considering the price of a haircut these days, the kit pays for itself after just one or two cuts.

Long Haircuts

Society seems to favor women who have long, luscious, and beautiful locks. Super-models and movie stars often are the origin of new hair style trends. With their beautiful, silky, and luxurious hair, these stars often find themselves to be trendsetters in the hairstyle world. Those who have been blessed with the ability to grow long hair have many style options from which to choose. Choosing a style that compliments your face as well as your personality is extremely important in receiving the perfect long haircut. The wrong style can have negative effects, both physically and emotionally.
There are many factors which should be considered before choosing a long haircut style. Simply because you have several style from which to choose does not mean that all of them would be suitable for your specific facial frame and personality. The style that you choose should be based on what best flatters your facial features, your personality, and the amount of time that you have available to maintain the style. Generally speaking those with heart shaped faces or oval faces have the highest number of choices in a long haircut that is flattering.
A well chosen long haircut can distract from features that you wish to minimize. If you wish to distract from your forehead, wispy bangs can conceal the feature you wish to minimize. Those who feel that their face is too wide can benefit from a style that avoids framing the face. Your stylist can assist you in determining your facial shape and choosing a long hairstyle that will complement you.
Long Curly Haircut
Long Curly Haircut
Having a long haircut that suits you and your style is most beneficial when it comes to choosing a more formal design. If you have a party, wedding, or other formal event, having a long hair style can be very beneficial when it comes to designing a style. A classy up-do with ringlet curls framing your face is always a great option for a long hair style up-do. With a long hairstyle you can choose to pull your hair back in a ponytail for a quick fix, or create an elaborate layering of curls or a bun. Braids are another excellent styling option for those with long haircuts. The standard braid can quickly pull your hair away from your face. This is excellent for people who are active and on the go, or those simply wishing to have their hair pulled back and somewhat stationary. French braids are a beautiful style for nearly anyone with long hair. French braids can take more time than a standard three strand braid, but often people can braid their hair and sleep on it to find that it needs only minor touch ups when they awaken.
One of the drawbacks to having a long hairstyle is they often take a much longer amount of time to style. Those with shorter hair can often “wash-and-go”. Long hair normally takes more work and effort than required with short hairstyles. Long hairstyles are more likely to frizz during periods of high humidity. Long hair, being heavier than shorter hair, can begin to appear flat or lose its bounce on a hot humid day. Many products are available that can help fight frizzing and make your hair appear to have more bounce.
A long hairstyle with layers has become very popular in recent months. This long haircut suits many face shapes and often prevents your hair from looking weighed down or flat. Layering not only gives texture, but can softly frame your face. Layers often appear more stylish than hair that is all one length.
Anyone who desires to grow their hair into a long hairstyle must be certain to visit their stylist to have the split ends trimmed. This promotes faster growth and healthier hair. Split ends can cause an otherwise flattering hairstyle to become unsightly. Proper care by a professional is required for hairstyles of every length. Consult your stylist to determine the frequency in which you should schedule an appointment for trims.
Those who are trying to decide whether to grow their hair into a long hair style or stick with a shorter style can visit numerous websites that are designed to allow you to upload a current photo of yourself and virtually try on numerous hairstyles and colors. This is especially beneficial to those who are considering a particular style but want to be sure that the style is one that will be flattering. Having the ability to see exactly what a particular style will look like before you commit to the style can prevent a long haircut disaster.

Popular Long Haircuts Pictures

Long haircuts often require maintenance that should be performed by a licensed cosmetologist. Many people with long hair tend to try to do the required maintenance on their hair themselves. This can result in disaster. Even tasks such as trimming to prevent split ends should be handled by a professional. There is no worse feeling than making an error when cutting your own hair. There are many cuts that accentuate the look of those with long hairstyles. Textured cuts can allow long hair to appear full and lie perfectly against ones head. Flips and long layers are more excellent examples of cuts that are very popular for those with long hairstyles.

Long Shag Haircuts

The shag is one of the most versatile styles available for those choosing a long haircut. This style is very popular and one of the most trendy styles of today. This style can be transformed into a completely different look with only a few simple changes.

Long Layered Haircuts

Layered looks are another great option for those with long haircuts. Layers give the hair lively appearance and definition. These looks are at the top of today’s fashion trends and can be worn by those of nearly all facial shapes. Your stylist can assist you in choosing the perfect layered style for your characteristics and personality.

Curly Long Hairstyle

For those with straight hair who love the look of curls, much time and work can be eliminated by getting a perm. The type of curls you receive from the perm is largely dependant on the type of rods used to roll your hair and the direction in which your hair is rolled. Show your hairstylist a picture of the type of curls you would like and he or she can recreate those luscious curls that you desire.

Choosing an appropriate hairstyle that will look great on you and provide you an easy to manage look is important. Some facial structures should avoid certain hairstyles and aim toward other hairstyles. Those with thin faces are complimented by loose flowing hair or soft curls. People with high foreheads can benefit from wispy bangs to camouflage the forehead. Hair is very versatile and can be designed in many styles. Trial and error is the best way to determine the perfect style for your face shape.
